SPECIAL EDUCATION - MANAGING INSTRUCTIONAL TIME IN THE RESOURCE ROOM

GRADES: K-6
Because the needs of students who come to the Resource Room are so diverse, it can be challenging to structure the learning environment. I have begun managing my Resource Room in the following manner:

Setting Up/Getting Prepared
I created a chart with three columns. Each column has an arrow pointing downward (one orange, one blue and one green). I laminated the chart so that I could write on it with wipe-off crayons.
Each day, I decide how I want to group students. Generally, grouping by ability level or IEP objectives works best. I end up with an orange group, a blue group and a green group. Then, assigning one column on the chart per group, I write student names in the columns.
I then assign certain tables as work spaces by placing an orange marker on one table, and so on. My markers are simply folded pieces of manila that stand up. Using this system allows me to set up everything the night before. Students can come in, look for their names on the chart, and group themselves according to color. They usually look over the materials I have already set out. So far, this seems to increase their enthusiasm.
I have 1 or 2 paraprofessionals in my room most of the morning. I write brief instructions on sticky notes (the larger ruled brand) and stick the notes on the materials. This usually is sufficient explanation.
Rotation/Instructional Time
I provide direct instruction (mini-lessons on a skill or strategy; reading from a Linguistic Reader, etc.) to the first group of students while the other 2 groups work with paras. The paras do a lot of skills games, review and reinforcement/practice activities. When I finish my mini-lesson, the groups rotate.
Then, we rotate again! Simple! Sometimes I teach the same mini-lesson to 3 groups. Sometimes my instruction is more individualized. Likewise, paras may do different activities with different groups. It all depends on what the students need on a particular day.

SPECIAL EDUCATION - Lesson Plan : What is the same

Subject: Special Education

Topic:Same and Different (EDITED)

Content: Recognition of two items that are the same and one item that is different.

Goals: The student will be able to choose the two items that are the same and the item that is different will remain on the table.

Objectives:Given a set of items Student will use hand, arm, or head to point and/or move like items to a different area, three out of four sessions.

Materials:Four sets of like items Four sets of different items

Introduction:The teacher will present each item to be used one at a time making sure the child's attention is focused on the items. Teacher will introduce each item by using the item's name and using it in a sentence. This will ensure that all children have prior knowledge of each item.

Development:When the student's attention is focused the teacher will place and name item color, shape, or name of toy to the student. Teacher will then place the items on the table in chosen order. Teacher will name the item as it is placed on the table. Teacher will ask for a specific item, and then point to it or pick it up and state the name of the item again.

Practice:
As the teacher is working with the students, they will use the Introduction and Development procedures to guide them through this activity. The teacher will keep a checklist noting the the number of successes and type of cues given.

Accommodations:
* Student will perform work at a table or on wheelchair tray. * Student may use the part of their body that works to point or move items. * Instruction will be given verbally. * Task will be demonstrated for visual.

Checking For Understanding:
* Teacher will tally checklist and personal observations: - note day and time of best performance - note which teacher was working with student - note items used (shape, color, toys) - note the health and attitude of student

Closure:Student successfully completed goal,what cues helped the most, which teacher helped the student focus the most, and what items (colors and shapes) was the student most interested in? If the student was not successful I would use the same premise in reverse.

Evaluation: Compare data collected each week. Plans will be based on this data.

Teacher Reflections:
What successes are being made? Is this lesson understood by all children? What will I do for those who are not understanding? What is working for the group? What is my next step?

SPECIAL EDUCATION - Lesson Plan : Apple Textures

Content: textures: smooth, bumpy, hard, soft

Goals: recognize different tactile sensations

Development:Talk about the way apples feel, allow students to manipulate apples as they are described

Checking For Understanding:Review textures and touch

Closure:Sing apple song again

Evaluation:observation

Earn money without any investment

Earning money without any investment looks good and at the same time it looks impossible but it is true. You can make money online without investment even a pie. There are so many success stories available on the internet that made so much of money. For this you need certain things. I will tell the entire requirement for this, but there is one condition that you have sufficient content matter that can help the reader and resulted in good traffic. 4. Follow the Google policies

5. Have adSense account after doing all this

Only these above listed points you should follow to earn money. Creation of Gmail account and blog creation is very easy. But the writing content with new ideas daily is somewhat difficult. Now a days it is very difficult to display the posts on first page of Google search engine as new algorithm is used by Google and named it Google panda. Google panda needs long lengthy articles on each post with Good links. Too much and lengthy links on post looks odd and even not preferred by Google.

Read more and more so that you can execute your idea in your own language. Copying the content is wrong practice and not preferred by adSense policies. Every person had limited content in his mind so keep reading develops new ideas. So make it habit.

Content written

Content written should be like that it must create interest in your readers. In other words it should not be a repetition or boring. For this you can write jokes in between the post, I am joking you need not to do this. You should write the post by giving proper and related headings. It looks good and interesting to the readers, and they even by seeing the heading can get the idea and can understand the idea simply and easily. As I have earlier written that content in each and every post must be lengthy.

Title and Key word
Title should be related to the content; it must be short and interesting and display the idea of whole the post. Two to three key words related to article allows the search engine to catch your blog. Title on each post must be different in size or colour from the other content.

Google adSense account

I have earlier written about the adSense, prerequisites for it etc. It is ultimately Google adSense who is going to pay for you by displaying ads in your blog or site. It is very difficult to have an approved Google adSense account. Be regular and write genuine content in your blog and you have the adSense account.

I have written some of ideas how you can earn online in simple and short way. You are not alone and you have to face a good competition on the internet. So try to make a unique blog with fresh ideas that can help you and most importantly the others.

I have seen that a lot of account is disapproved by the Google adSense. So there may be a single or multiple reason for that so if you are truly dedicated and wants to approve your account then keep in mind that before applying Google adSense your blog must satisfied listed below things:

1. A good template

2. A good colour combination

3. Identical content

4. More than 40 posts with good links

5. Age of your blog must be six month old (but you can approve your account even in one month by posting two to three articles per day)

Points to make blog more popular

Do you have blog wants to popularize it, quickly. Then this article is for you, but it is true that it is not possible to make your blog popular in one day. Here I am listing some of points that will help you to make your site at the top. It can be easy if you understand the points I am going to list below. Writing content in different blogs will help you in both way one backlinks and traffic and second it creates good relations with other bloggers who may also help you. Writing review in some sites is good practice.

So these were the few points which are easy and effective one. Be regular with all above the points. For good traffic you must have above 50 posts in your blog. A good blog is that one which not only helps the blogger but also their readers. So make or create content keeping mind the readers view.
